A Path Back to Confidence
My work in reading and spelling grew from watching my own bright and happy son struggle to learn to read. I saw his confidence slip lower and lower as we tried different phonics programs that ultimately increased his frustration without giving him the progress he needed. That experience led me to seek a deeper understanding of how children learn to read and spell and ultimately become an Advanced Certified Reading & Spelling Specialist.
Today, I bring that understanding and 15 years of experience to students who are finding reading and spelling challenging. With individualized, research-based instruction and a clear path forward, students can build the skills they need and experience the confidence that comes from knowing, “I can learn this.”
It is a privilege to come alongside students and families as they discover that a reading or spelling struggle does not have to define their story.
